2005-2007 Mustang 6cly 5 speed shaftIn these days of engine management and forced induction its possible to break a drive shaft in a 6cly mustang, the factory shaft from Ford has a very unique shaft. The new mustangs have a flange on the back of the Trans that bolts on. This creates a problem for the Drive Shaft because it needs to be able to move in and out on its own unlike most cars that have sliding yoke on the back of the Trans. The problem with the factory 6cly shaft is that they used an electro magnetic pulse to form the tube into a spline? (Yes they bent tubing to have square edges what were they thinking) It's very inexpensive to make and also very weak. Our 3" shaft is a direct bolt on system and will handle the power you have given your car. Retail Price: $524.99
