1. What is the warranty for the performance axles? : The Level 0 have no warranty against breakage. Level 2 axles have a 6 month warranty and the Level 2.9, 3, 3.9, 4, 5, and Level 5.9 have a 1 year warranty. Warranty covers broken or worn part for the term. Boots are not covered under the warranty. Customer will pay shipping to the factory and DSS will pay shipping back for warranty repairs(Ground only). For out of country sales, shipping both ways will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

2. How does the warranty work?: The warranty covers the repair of the original unit. Most companies don't cover performance products at all, but here at The Driveshaft shop we believe in our products. If you have a warranty claim do not reorder the axle and send in the old one as a defect. The claim will be repaired and you will have 2 axles.

3. How long will a repair take?: Turn around time is about 3-4 days. We will cover UPS ground shipping (within the states) only. No overnight air or out of the country shipping will be covered. It is your responsibility to get the axles to us and get them back.

4. New returns: New returns will only be accepted if the axle or shaft has not been installed for a period of 30 days (except custom axles). Axles returned will be charged a 10% re-stocking fee and no shipping and handling will be credited. There is absolutely no return on custom made axles or driveshafts. It is the customers sole responsibility to make sure that the axle or shaft being installed, by themselves or someone else, that the axle or shaft fits properly. Do not use the part if there is a problem. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Custom Axles: All custom axles are made to customer specs, there is no return policy for these axles.


5. What if I ordered or received the wrong part?: Just call (800)564-2244 or email us and we will be happy to assist you in the problem.

6. How many times can I have an axle repaired under the warranty?
: If you break an axle more than once there may be a problem. Talk to us as you may need a higher level axle. The axles are covered for the term, not by how many times you need a repair. The Driveshaft Shop does reserve the right to make a determination if the wrong axles are being used for the application, so please order the right parts.
