  1.   2015+ Hellcat/392 Challenger Automatic 9-Inch Direct Bolt-in Rear Conversion Kit -includes Axles / Hubs and 4'' Aluminum CV shaft ////// DIRECT BOLT-IN KIT\\\\\\  
    The Driveshaft Shop Hellcat/392 Challenger Automatic 9" DIRECT BOLT IN Rear Conversion is now a reality.


    The kit will come complete with 9" rear housing (bare housing), front mount,1400HP rated 31,33 OR 35 spline diff stubs and true 1400HP axles . The outer CV is a Extreme built Billet CV with fully REM polished internals along with a Porsche style 930 inner CV. We have custom made the internals of these CV's to use the larger center bar that is the strongest tested part on the market today and is used (not claimed) in each and every 9,8,7 and even 6 second IRS record breaking car out today. You are able to pick the level of the Diff you want, when we made this kit we used a .375 spacer on the front mount, this spacer will allow the use of a simple Nodular or Forged Aluminum case right up to the Pro-Bolt thru case with out having to change anything (the pro-cases are longer, just remove the spacer and its ready)

    This, along with our full 4" aluminum (or a 600.00 Carbon upgrade) This is not the smaller 1330 that is offered by a another manufacturer's rear conversion), balanced on our new 9500RPM balancer. A quick word about balancing; we have......

  3.   CHEVROLET 2016 CAMARO SS 1400HP Level 5 Direct Bolt-In Axles  
    So the 2016 Camaro is out and like any of the newer platforms by GM we have seen lately the Drive train is nice, The axle is more like the ZL1 axles but has a interesting twist, the inner is not able to be un-bolted (more on this later) we all know the ZL1 axles were stronger unlike the 2010-2015 SS cars,they seem to have had issues in the 600-700Hp range. Like any axle we look to make here at DSS we always open the axle up for the critical dimensions but also to see what was done by GM to make this new 2016 better than the 5th gen style its replacing. they do not disappoint (maybe us a little but not you if you or are getting one) Guessing what HP ? this sort of thing is always hard but like all OE's they have come to realize the axles have to be better and this one is. We found the bars and internals are closer to the C7 corvette or maybe the CTS-v axles in the fact that not only the internal splines are much larger but the CV parts themselves are, CV's are done in series and this one is the same as the larger axles found on vipers, Lamborghini's and a few other high end cars. The axles are also done with the "anti-wheel hop" that in a stock application "kind" of helps hop but in high Hp applications causes a unbalanced strength and will basically have one axle stronger then the other.

    The Drive Shaft shop is proud to announce the release of the new Generation V2 Pontiac G8 / Holden Commodore VE 9" Rear Conversion Kit. This system has been designed and built specifically for the Camaro platform. The new version has been updated to be a more street friendly version. First, we have changed over to using a new "Pro-Formed" Rear housing. It may have the looks of a fabricated housing, but in the true DSS way of making parts its a lot better. It is a press formed housing with less welds than a fabricated housing (eliminating the issues with fully welded housings). We have also moved the housing down and back a bit so that any Diff Case can be mounted without clearance issues.
    When we first made this kit it was for the "Baddest" cars out there (the DSS 9" kit is in all the 7 and 8 second 5th gen Camaros out to date), we were using almost solid bushings, we positioned the housing up to the gas tank as far as we could get the axle angle correct, and designed the 1st gen kit to use the Nodular case. But not anymore.

  7.   PONTIAC 2004-2006 GTO 1400HP Axles -with larger 30- spline bars  
    Reasons to use DSS axles:

    1. Full certified 300m 30 spline center bars (not just 28 spline like the others). There is a reason the Viper T56 uses a 30 spline and its the reason we do too.

    2. Certified 4340AQ cages with re-designed radius on the CV cage windows.

    3. Our center race in the CV is certified 300m, this should need no explanation, no one else uses this and we can prove it...

    4. Rolled splines on our axle bars. Most know that a forging is always stronger than billet. Here at The Driveshaft Shop we roll our splines, this is by far the strongest way to form a spline and is far superior to cut splines (old technology).

    5. not recomended for use with 28 spline stubs (use the 1000Hp Anti-sheel Hop or Even axles)

  10.   CHEVROLET 2012+ CAMARO ZL1 1400HP Level 5 Direct Bolt-In Axles *Also fits SS with ZL1 Differential Conversion*  
    1. Full 30 spline certified 300M center bars (not just 28 spline like a factory 108mm CV would use) 30 spline like the Viper T56 and any upgraded T56 its the reason we do too. If the cages are stronger the bars need to be also (same center bar used in Lingenfelter's 6-speed car)

    2. Certified 4340AQ cages REM polished with a re-designed radius on the cage window, cages are full 4340 not the standard material that have been carbonized and made brittle.

    3. Our Center race in the CV is certified 300M, this should need no explanation, no one else uses this and we can prove it.....

    4. CNC Rolled splines. Most know a forging is always stronger than billet. Here at The Driveshaft shop we roll our axle splines, this is by far the strongest way to form a spline and is far superior to "old technology" cut splines. by rolling a spline you are taking the material that was already there and re-forming it (forging). by cutting a spline you are removing material and the inherent grain structure that its made with. Don't take our word for this, please search the internet and see what spline is better. If your looking for the strongest axle you have arrived at the right place.
