    The Drive Shaft shop is proud to announce the release of the new Generation V2 Pontiac G8 / Holden Commodore VE 9" Rear Conversion Kit. This system has been designed and built specifically for the Camaro platform. The new version has been updated to be a more street friendly version. First, we have changed over to using a new "Pro-Formed" Rear housing. It may have the looks of a fabricated housing, but in the true DSS way of making parts its a lot better. It is a press formed housing with less welds than a fabricated housing (eliminating the issues with fully welded housings). We have also moved the housing down and back a bit so that any Diff Case can be mounted without clearance issues.
    When we first made this kit it was for the "Baddest" cars out there (the DSS 9" kit is in all the 7 and 8 second 5th gen Camaros out to date), we were using almost solid bushings, we positioned the housing up to the gas tank as far as we could get the axle angle correct, and designed the 1st gen kit to use the Nodular case. But not anymore.

    The DSS 9" kits are designed for use with the Strange center section and 5-bolt pinion support. If you are using a center section from a different manufacturer, modifications may be necessary and you are on your own. We cannot guarantee fitment for any center section other than the Strange 5-bolt unit.

  10.   PONTIAC 2004-2006 GTO 1000HP 300m Anti-Wheelhop Axle Kit with 300m 108mm Bolt-on Inner Stubs  
    Reasons to use DSS axles:

    1. Full certified 300m center bars (not just 28 spline like the others). There is a reason the Viper T56 uses a 30 spline and its the reason we do too.

    2. Certified 4340AQ cages with re-designed radius on the CV cage windows.
    Others will try to impress you with saying chromoly is a weaker part for the center bar (we have always used 300m and 4340) but uses it on their cages, we're not sure how most dont see thru this, but our cages are full 4340AQ. You decide.

    3. Our center race in the CV is certified 300m, this should need no explanation, no one else uses this and we can prove it...

    4. Rolled splines on our axle bars. Most know that a forging is always stronger than billet. Here at The Driveshaft Shop we roll our splines, this is by far the strongest way to form a spline and is far superior to cut splines (old technology).
